IDC Execution Requirements

Complete the following components of the PADI IDC eLearning curriculum:

Participate in the following components of the IDC curriculum:

    Orientation Diving Theory Workshop PADIT System Workshop Learning and Instruction Workshop Discover Scuba Diving Workshop Open Water Diver Course Organization and Scheduling Workshop Risk Management and Authorization Workshop Knowledge Development Academic Presentation Workshop and Candidate Knowledge Development Presentation Workshop ExercisesConfined Water Training Workshop and Confined Water Candidate Teaching PresentationsOpen Water Training Workshop and Open Water Candidate Teaching PresentationsContinuing Education WorkshopAdvanced Open Water Diver Course WorkshopRescue Diver Course WorkshopSales Technique WorkshopClosing Course
    Present at least three knowledge development academic presentations Present at least four confined water teaching presentations Present at least two open water (in water) integrated teaching presentations (two exercises) Perform all 24 diving exercises in the Drill Assessment Obtain a minimum score of 75 percent on the PADI System, Standards and Procedures Test Earn a score of 75 percent on all sections of the Diving Theory Test Swim 400 metres/yards without stopping, without swimming aids and using any stroke or combination of theseComplete 10 minutes of buoyancy, moving or floating without the use of swimming aids and wearing only a swimsuitIn confined or open water, model the rescue of a diver simulating panic at the surfaceIn open water, demonstrate with exemplary quality the rescue of a diver who pretends to be inco Unconscious and not breathing on the surface In open water, participate in a drill that includes: Bringing a diver to the surface who pretends to be unconscious Provide assistance on the surface Exit Boat/shore first aid including artificial respiration and administering oxygen to the victim using an artificial respiration mask
